    The same reason you can buy seas shells in seaside shops, she picked the best ones and made some money.

    Because people are too lazy to pick up seashells so they buy them instead.

    Just like us when we buy food because we are too lazy to cook or how we buy rocks to decorate our gardens/ fill up our vases when we can just collect them off roads.
