EPQ HELP: Thinking of doing my EPQ in chemistry related things however it needs to be a little controversial and allow enough discussion through it. I was thinking of doing something about the thalidomide disaster along the lines of "has the pharmaceutical industry learnt from the thalidomide disaster" but I don't know if it's controversial enough? Any help or ideas would be appreciatedddd? Its the AQA course btw.

I think the trick with these EPQ is to define a topic narrowly enough that it can be effectively answered at that academic level. Your topic sounds awfully broad to me and needs nailing down a bit more, IMHO. And what does 'learnt' mean, in this context?
