    Hey
I need to do an acess course to go to uni and i have found one to suit me on distance learning, this means i don't need to move away. Iknow access courses are designed more for mature students but i turn 19 in november. I was wondering if i'm eligible for a student loan to help cover the cost of the course and how do i go about applying if i am?
    thanks!

When you're 19 you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with your Access tuition fees, as long as your course provider is eligible. Check with them. Full info here on what you'll get and how to apply:
    https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan/overview

If you then go on to uni, that debt is wiped out when you graduate, so you won't necessarily have to repay it.
