I cannot take oestrogen based products anymore.
    What would you people recommend?
    POP/MINI pill or implant?

You should honestly talk to your GP and decide which one would be better for you. If it was my choice, I'd go for the implant simply because it's easier and you don't have to remember to take a pill every day but it might not be the best choice for you

If I were female I'd go with an implant. You don't have to worry about forgetting the pill. Bioavaliability of the drug is smoother and leads to fewer failures and likely better side effect profile as well.

It's not a decision someone else can take for you - everyone has a different position on the benefits and drawbacks of each one.

You can't get more reliable than the implant, but not everyone wants to have something in their arm, for example.

Talk to your doctor. People here know nothing about you or your medical history. One may be better for you than another. In the end, you have to either have the implant inserted into your arm or take the pills - not us. It's not a decision we can really make for you. Personally, I went with the implant. It's super effective, doesn't react with any of my medications, and I don't have to remember to take yet another pill every day. That being said, it isn't for everyone
