Helping a friend apply

    • Thread Starter

Hey, I'm helping my friend apply for SAAS. She left it late as she was unsure how to fill it in, so i'm doing it for her with her help. We have done everything however with the documents from her parents, her mum isn't currently employed (living off savings i believe) and wont give anything to send in. My friend has been living by herself for the past 2 years, and supporting herself for that time, and should be entitled to the full support however we are not sure what to put on the application, since to be an independant student, you must have been self supporting for at least 3 years. What can you do when a parent doesn't have the necessary information, or simply wont supply it?
