I work for a social research company, doing customer satisfaction interviews with members of the public who've reported crimes to four specific police stations. So I phoned one bloke today about an incident back in June and asked if he'd take part but he said he really didn't want to discuss what'd happened in any detail because it was "quite a delicate issue". So I told him I wouldn't be asking any details about the incident itself and if he was sure he didn't want to take part, when he said; "Well, it was about my daughter you see. She has a phobia of clowns and some people grabbed her and slowly forced her to turn her into one."

...I can only assume he meant that they dressed her up like one. Just thought it was a bit creepy.
