i'm currently in year 11 and am preparing for a speaking exam on work experience and part time jobs etc.
does anyone have any good A/A* phrases that I could use or high level techniques that I could use to impress the examiner,
Any help would be much appreciated.

Use the imperfect tense when talking about tasks you did during your work experience. For example, j'organisais l'eqiupment (I used to organise equipment)
Also, here is a sheet of good phrases out teacher gave us:

    Use conditional tense
    Si clauses
    Variety of negative expressions
Avant de +infinitive (before doing something)
Apres avoir/etre + past participle (after having done something)
    Variety of adverbs
    Direct object/subject pronouns
    Sequencing words
    Present participle
    Variety of connectives
    Comparatives and superlatives
    Relative pronouns (qui, que, ou)

Basically, develop your sentences, extend them as much as possible and use a variety of vocab and structures
