Male: Orestes, Marius/Darius, Mikhail, Enjolras, Lysander, Leonatus/Leonato, Othello, Iago, Marlowe, Rufus, Connal,
Female: Krysta, Keavy, Verity, Elowen, Merryn, Freya, Antigone, Ariadne, Andromache, Elektra

And I wouldn't saddle a kid with most of those (some of them I would, but not something like Orestes or Elektra).

Speaking of bird names, I like Jay for a boy, short fro James, but it's the thought of the teasing he would get!
Eh? Why would he get teased?

My sister's called Kariana - Russian for Catherine. Of course no-one can spell it or pronounce it. She gets called Carry-anne quite a bit, and the wrong spellings are endless lol

My name (danielle) used to be quite unusual apparently - but then it got more popular in the 90s lol

Iago... the epitome of human evil? Ouch! And Elektra... who loved her dad 'more than she should have'. Thank god you wouldn't actually name your kids that!

Verity and Rufus are nice, though.

Pretty names though Orestes and Elektra killed their mother so I really doubt I'd go for those ones! Iago and Othello I wouldn't go for either, and Enjolras would just get mispronounced nonstop, ditto Andromache. Antigone would also get shortened to something like Tiggy which I wouldn't like.

Verity is one of my two fave names for a girl atm (Carrie being the other one, both with Jane as a middle name)

Lol, sounds rather like a drunk way of saying Tiffany :p:

Anyway, i've always a bit of an affinity for: Marlowe, Edgar, Albass and Adonis (i don't know if you could name someone this but it's part of my general plan).

I hate the name Verity mainly because the only person i ever met called Verity was a total *****. But i also just think its not a very nice sounding or looking name.

How do you pronouce Enjolras? I like Antigone but i wouldn't inflict that on my child, in the same way that i like Clytemnestra, but couldn't inflict that on my child.

I like names that were named after places. Not well known as London or Paris. [I hate those names] But Illyria, Roman and Sparta I like.

Hmm... I want to call my (male) kids (should my wife at the time permit) Angelus and Ambrosius : Angel and Immortal.

    Female: Aimée, Alice, or Laura

I have a strange taste in names :p:
