I have recently applied to medicine however I have been wondering if I do not get in what should I be looking to do?

I know further study is important and is the way to go but I just can't put my finger on what is worth going for. I have thought about forensics possibly but other than that I don't have a clear goal.

    Any help?

    Thanks

Further study isn't necessary. Work out what you want to do first and what you need to do it job-wise then work out if you need a further study or not. If you've applied for medicine what is your backup option on UCAS?

If you do postgrad straight after an undergrad degree, you will still be a fresh graduate with no relevant experience. You will also have substantial debts with no obvious way of paying them off.

Get a job, then come back to the idea of postgrad in a few years time when you are clearer about what you want to do - and why.
