since yesterday I found a bump on the floor on my mouth (the area undeneath my tongue) close to the gumline. It's not bothering me (painless) but it does throb here and there. It feels very smooth and soft when I touched it with a clean finger.

Does anyone know what it is?

I am going to call for a doctor/dentist appointment asap tomorrow.

Knowing so little, it's hard to tell, but could it be an ulcer? That, or it could just be a bit of swelling. A dentist should be able to help you out

Might be the start of a giant cell granulomar.

You should got to the doctor if you're worried - no-one here is qualified to diagnose you over the internet.
