Which universities focus more on the practical training compared to theory based assessment?
I want to go to university around Birmingham ideally (or possibly London) I know Birmingham is good but that they are more of an academic uni and would feel more confident on a course that focuses more on practical training. Any ideas?

All universities must adhere to 2300hrs theory and 2300hrs placement over the course of the degree, which are the requirements set by the NMC. You will therefore spend exactly the same amount of time in uni as on placement at every university (although some of the uni time will be self-directed study). 50% of your overall grade will be from theory, and 50% from placements. Whether you are assessed through exams, coursework or other means varies at every university but usually a mixture of different exam types are used.*
