Abysmal censorship methods?

    • Thread Starter

When searching for a song, I stumbled upon a heavily edited music video (see above link). Now, I know WHY censorship is imposed - the song IS highly explicit (I certainly wouldn't want my children saying things like "**** with me, though, we can get it on, and **** your homeboy, ******, he can get it grown"), but I really oppose HOW they've censored the song. It sounds like an amateur Audacity job - like most of it's been reversed (rather badly).

By all means censor it, but why don't they censor it properly? Or at least have the artist re-record the song and alter the explicit lyrics?
