Transferring to St. Andrews

University Navigation

I am currently a first year student at Exeter studying international relations. I would like to transfer to St. Andrews and I was wondering how big the chances are to get accepted as a transfer student? My main reasons to transfer are that I would be able to study IR coupled with Persian at St. Andrews but I also prefer the university over Exeter in general. St. Andrews states that it takes few transfer applicants and because it is somewhat easier for overseas students to get accepted by the university I am worried that these "few transfer students" are mainly from overseas. Does anyone have any experience with this and could help me out?
