Withdrawing from my studies Watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi, I am thinking of withdrawing from studies following Christmas 2016 as I am not happy with University. Up to now I have received one maintenance loan and my Uni is due to receive the first tuition payment.. If was to drop out after the first term, would I have to some amount back straight away as it would be before my second payment and what would the situation be if I decided ultimately to drop out before this December if I was still unhappy for example if I was to leave studies at the end of October?
    Many Thanks.

    Hi there.

If you have received a payment it's likely some of it will go into overpayment and we will ask for some of it back as soon as possible.

Your first instalment is given in advance to last you the whole of the first term, so leaving partway through means we've given you funding for a time you are now not going to attend.

When you do leave it's up the the Uni to advise us and when doing so they will let us know exactly how much (if any) tuition fees they are going to charge and we will pay this amount only.

Is GoT overrated?
