Applying with 2 HNC's

HI all,

So as part of my companies apprenticeship route, by July 2017 I will have completed two HNC's over the course of three years part-time.
I am now looking to move onto a degree full-time in the same field (engineering).

What would I be entitled to under the current rules and regulations? Would my HNC's count only as year one of degree level study and therefore I would be entitled to a further three years (for the MENG course)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi there.

How many years is the new Degree course and which year of the course will you be going into?

Thanks.

All 2 were carried out part time over 3 years.

The first HNC was done over the course of 2 years part-time.
The second which only has me studying three modules (in effect I stepped over from my previous to gain dual trade status) is being conducted also part time for 1 year.
Hi,

These HNC's would be classed as two separate courses. You would be entitled to maintenance loan only for the second year and full support for third and fourth year.

Thanks
