Its a trivial thing but how long to bruises tend to last for?

I had a blood test two weeks ago and i have small veins, so when they took out the blood, the area where they extracted it from bruised up and its still here...

I was wondering how long it would take to clear up and if there's anything i could do to tone it down.

Mine lasted two weeks for some reason and it got bigger, I thought I had some disease.

Not to worry though because I'm alive and the bruise is long gone so you shouldn't worry either

I find bruising from blood tests tends to last up to about a couple of weeks, sometimes more. Make-up can help, but just leaving it alone is the best thing. If you mess with it it takes longer to heal. You can ice it, but it can be uncomfortable, and I'm not sure how much it really helps once it's been around for a few days

I'll probably leave it then... thanks!
