Potential Issue Watch

Okay.. I have a potential issue.

Basically I am currently working as a lifeguard/sports assistant at my old school therefore am considered to be a member of staff. I am only 18 (left in July).
The guy I like (and who I think likes be back) is currently a student at the school (17). I met him as a student and he is also a lifeguard and therefore also a member of staff.

The problem is because technically I am not a student and am just staff and he is a student. Depsite the fact that we have been friends since i was a student there would this cause legal issues...

Not sure if i explained that very well but i think the overall message comes across.

    Thanks
