Marine biology or zoology? Watch

    • Thread Starter

I am interested in studying mammals, mainly marine mammals, I'm not fussed about little organisms or plants and stuff. Which would be better to take? If zoology does anyone know a course that has some modules on marine mammals? Any help would be great I'm struggling to find a course atm. Thanks!

Do you have any specifics in mind other than just course? e.g. where do you want to / are you willing to move to? Also, have you taken the time yet to look over modules of courses yourself yet? If not, that's probably your best bet. Just looking at your post here though, and what I have read about modules regarding marine biology courses, that maybe Zoology would be a better fit for you.*

I'm applying to the following universities for marine biology, but they're all in Scotland. Got my hopes set on Glasgow as it's only an hour away, but UHI looks amazing.

The University of Aberdeen – Marine Biology
University of Glasgow – Marine & Freshwater Biology
    Heriot-Watt University – Marine Biology
University of The Highlands and Islands – Marine Science
The University of Stirling – Marine Biology
