    Hey,

I've had a rough couple of months lately so just wanted some advice.

So basically I lived with my abusive parents and boyfriend, I recently got in contact with the YMCA and got a flat but I am currently in hospital after having surgery due to injuries caused through the abuse. I have depression and have self harmed. I hear voices a lot that tell me to do things. I have an eating disorder and weigh under 7 stone.

I really don't know how to cope any more.

Can anyone offer advice or if you have been through it yourself how did you cope?

Aside from the standard advice for mental health issues, talk to your GP/Councellors etc they'll know more than any of us. I'd suggest if you ever need to talk to people from third party organisations such as Time to Talk, I've heard their helplines are very good

I've heard Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is effective for treating eating disorders as well, outside of standard treatment.

I'm sorry you've had to go through what you have. Stay safe OP - Make sure you're talking to people, you're not alone

Speak to a member of staff in the hospital about how you are feeling, tell them everything you have put into your post on here. Hospitals should have access to a good mental health team, who should be able to help you and provide whatever support you need to help you with your mental health.

I have already spoken to them a bit but I will carry on. Thank you for the advice.

Must have happened when mods put a trigger warning on. Seen things like that happen before.
... that or you're a time traveler :curious: ... probably the mod thing.
