    Dear All,

I'm getting some dental treatment done privately. It's fairly extensive and expensive work, I'm spending over a couple of thousand.

I'm also in need of some fillings. Its far cheaper for me if I get the fillings done on the NHS. Is is usual for people to mix their dental treatment up, both private and NHS?

I'm going private because of their expertise in the work I need to get done. But if its cheaper I'd rather get my fillings done on the NHS.

Do you think it would annoy my dentist to also see the NHS? Would the annoyance of my dentist be so bad that it would affect my other treatment going forward. i.e. do you think she may not give her 100% towards the rest of the work I'm getting done?

Anyone had any similar experiences, or general advice?

    Thanks

Oh come on, it's your life. Just get them on NHS if it's cheaper. Having said that I've had a bad experience with an NHS dentist once. Never again. Private is so much better. The small price difference just isn't worth it in my opinion.
