Academic reference for GEM help

    • Thread Starter

I have an academic reference from my physics lecturer but it doesn't talk about medicine, only my academic results and aptitude etc. Would this be no good if I were to make a medicine application?

I can't imagine every GEM academic reference is going to be about medicine, and on what experience can tutors comment on this when they teach arts or unrelated sciences?

As someone who has just finished an MA I worried about this, but considering the number of non-science GEM applicants I am sure there must be some leeway regarding these academic references. I suppose this is where work experience references will play a more prominent role.
