This thread is for those intending on applying for KCL Medicine this October, with the view to enter in September 2017. Feel free to ask questions regarding all aspects of the course with anyone here.

As a side note, I am currently a final year Biomed student at KCL, so will be happy to answer any queries. I also studied two years of medicine prior to switching course and so have knowledge on that course to a high degree as well. Any questions on why I switched will be ignored as it's for a plethora of personal reasons, but anything else is fine

Did you have to sit the UKCAT when you studied medicine? How did you find the interview/selection process?

I heard from a friend that taking a language for A level like French, German is an advantage when applying to medicine. Is that actually true? I do Maths, bio, chem, econ

I've heard that too. I don't think all unis that offer medicine see it as an advantage but I think some certainly do. I'm taking Scottish Advanced Higher (A2 equivalent) German, biology and chem.

    Hi everyone!

Quick question. I have my Kings interview coming up in December and I was wondering if the interview score is used in conjunction with the other factors like GCSE, A2 and UKCAT scores or is it used in isolation for offer allocation??

    Many Thanks!!!
