Couldn't start university due to mental health - they refused to defer my entry?

    • Thread Starter

I had an unconditional offer to study law at UEA. I was unable to arrival as my OCD and anxiety were unfortunately intensified as I was due to go.
I am now looking to get treatment again to solve this.
My OCD and the impact it has had on my previous studies and at school and college was completely declared in my personal statement.
I explained my situation to the admissions and received a very short email telling me I am too late to defer my entry and I can apply again but the entry requirements have increased (meaning I may not get in now).

Can I appeal this? I contacted the charity Mind and they believed I would definitely have a case.
