Anyone know why the entry requirements for Economics at York have dropped to AAB? When I first started researching university degrees maybe 3 years ago it was A*AA/AAA and I'm almost certain for 2016 entry it was AAA as I started looking in to unis properly this time last year. I only just realised this morning that it's gone down to AAB, which was a pleasant surprise.
I'm surprised because York is a decent place for economics - obviously not up there with Oxbridge, Warwick etc but still ranked 17th. I'm also pretty sure it's the highest ranked Russell Group uni that requires AAB.
So yeah anyone know why this is?
