# Set Theory help? Watch

1. SET OPERATIONS - Union and Intersection
I am really confused on this I was hoping someone could help me and explain it. Thank you

Let M := {1, 2, 4}, N := {x ∈ N : x is even} and P := {2x + 1 : x ∈ N}.
Write the following sets in extensional notation and determine their cardinality.
(a) {x ∈ Z : x2(Squared) ∈ M}
(b) {♣, ♠} × {♠, ♥}
(c) M × (N ∩ P)
(d) {(x, y, z) ∈ M3(Cubed): x · y = z}
