Anxiety at work Watch

I started a new job recently and all the people I work with are quite outgoing and make lots of jokes etc but about quite serious/rude/inappropriate things, you get the idea. I did something embarrassing last week and I just want to forget about it but the girl I sit next to told the entire team and now they're always making jokes about it. I don't want to seem like a killjoy or a loser or anything, but it's getting to the stage where I'm really insecure about it and to be honest, spend a stupid amount of time worrying that they'll bring it up again.

Am I overreacting (probably) or is it a valid worry? And what should I do about it? I don't want to bring it up and just want them all to forget about it and act like it didn't happen but that doesn't seem likely

    Thanks

Just be honest with them and say that it's really getting to you and you think that it's inappropriate. If they're reasonable human beings they'll understand. If not, take it your boss/line manager.

Don't let this affect your mental health or work :hugs:*
