    Hi, planning on resitting c4 in my gap year, is it possible to learn c4 without needing to learn all of c3 again? Thanks

    C4 significantly depends on C3, so if you've forgotten some of the C3 content, you will need to go back over it first.

    C3 provides good foundations for C4, so I would suggest that you don't try to get ahead of yourself but that you learn and understand C3 before progressing onto C4. It's not necessarily harder, but just that a good proportion of the content covered requires knowledge (or even just skills) developed in C3.

    Thanks for the reply, might as well retake c3 now since I've forgotten all of it .

    How much c3 do u think I will need to learn?

    All of it, obviously. Any gap in your understanding needs to be eradicated in order to allow you to progress further in mathematics.
