I am applying for tesco and have been asked to send in my right to work documents but my passport is an old one which has my old name on it as I changed my last name several months ago, can i still use this old passport as my right to work document?

You need to get it changed to your new name.

It will cause complications especially during the process, they probably wouldn't accept it. They will however accept NI Number proof and birth certificate. Try and get your passport sorted. You will need your change of name deed sent with your new passport or they will just send you a letter asking for it anyway which will delay the process.

I applied to Tesco a few weeks ago and I don't have a passport. They accepted my birth certificate, proof of my National Insurance number and my student ID card as my Right to Work documents though
