Ok so I've got a pretty severe case of freshers flu which was made worse by the fact I decided To go out clubbing when I had a cold so long story short I've now completely lost my voice and also I think I have some sort of ear infection too and just feel awful in general . Do you think I should just skip lectures tomorrow to give me more time to recover and rest my voice or should I go in anyways despite the fact I won't be able to talk to my course mates lmao

I'd skip - make sure you don't miss anything by making sure you have all the content and contacting anyone ye need to. Don't want to make others ill as well!

Resting it out is a better idea, as long as you won't get into trouble for it.

Thanks for the advice and yh I have all the course notes printed out so I just need to read over them ; think I only have two lectures tomorrow anyway if I am correct and some other session where you do a few questions and yeh exactly I don't wanna pass on my illness to everyone else and also loads of people are coughing ect during lectures so I think surrounded myself with them would only make me worse

Lectures aren't compulsory but I'll be missing this other session where they do take a register but as long as I don't miss another one of them sessions soon it'll be alright
