    okay here's the deal:

im an unconditional student who has accepted a place at manchester this september, as i am unconditional i do not have a clearing passport.
I have been fully accepted onto this course.
Personal family problems have arisen, i am wondering if it is even possible for me to withdraw from manchester and get into another uni *my home uni* without even having a clearing passport.provided the course i enquire about has vacancies on it ofcourse.
would really appreciate ne responses, desperate!!!
    cheers.

I think you should call up tommorow, as the uni's won't be as busy...
i think manchester shud u let go...but its just the uni accepting you. Plus, i read somewhere that you go through clearing without the passport, and then it comes afew days later, so u might want to call up ur home uni as well 2mrw and ask.
Sorry i couldn't help much. All the best.

Phone admissions at your Uni tomorrow morning and explain the situation. The way I understand it you will have to get the Uni to release you if they are your firm choice.

Just give them a call...you never know what they might say. Also about the clearing passport, I'm not quite sure but you might aswell call up UCAS to make sure
    x all the best
