Need some advice for where to go next... Watch

I'm currently in my first year studying Chemistry at Durham Uni. However, having started the course I'm having doubts as to whether it's the right one for me, or even if Uni is for me in general.

I have 4 A grade A-Levels and very happy to be at Durham. Unfortunately I'm just not enthusiastic about the work in the way I was at A-Level. It's difficult to know whether this is due to the course not being right or the fact that I'm away from home.

I've always been concerned about the cost of University in general, but it's only now I'm here that it just doesn't feel worth it.

Would an Open uni degree be a viable option with the ability to work from home (part-time job at the same time too) or would that look strange with my grades? Is a Uni degree even worth it anymore? Should I look straight into the job market?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
