Mopeds are utterly useless vehicles that should be banned.
With reasons being nosey and polluting.

    1) useless to you isn't useless to others. and even if they were useless, why should they be banned just for that? there are a lot of things in life that are useless yet are legal - I mean, let's think of a few things: flowers. pogo sticks. tortoises. birthday cards. they're all a little bit pointless to me - am I in a logical position to force people not to use them just because I don't like them?
    2) "nosey" (noisey*)? motorbikes are noisey too. so are jackhammers. so are music players turned up. so are dogs. so are church bells. so are busy streets. so are airports. should we ban them all?
    3) polluting? again, what about planes, trucks, cars in general etc? if this is from a concern for nature and the preservation of materials and the environment, why not also enforce recycling and have force people to not exceed a certain consumption of water and heating in their homes?

Well they are a bit less annoying than pushbikes. They are less polluting than cars so I don't see that as a problem and I don't care about noise.

But they are too slow so I don't really see the point of them. Just get a 125.

You have made out some fantastic points.
But mopeds are being used by criminal gangs.

I hear bank robbers are now using cars as getaway vehicles. Better ban them.

No. Access to transport should always be as equal as possible. Short of a pushbike or walking mopeds are the cheapest form of transport available
