I'm having septoplasty and a turbinate reduction in a few weeks and i'm terrified. A lot of reviews say it messes up their breathing even more, makes their nose look bigger and the majority say that the pain is unbearable.
Has anyone had this done and can offer their experiences?
I can breath, just not through my nose at night or in the morning. It's a bit of a problem but manageable so i can live without the surgey. But also my nose is a little crooked. I know it's an internal surgery but if my crooked nose is because of a bent septum then there's a chance my nose could look straighter as a result?
I really don't know what to do. I've been going back and forth ever since i recieved the letter. I don't have a high pain threshold so there's that too that's scaring me.
It's not too late!
