Are most of the Physics buildings at top universities bad?

    • Thread Starter

I just went to the University of Birmingham for the Open Day. And the course has really high student satisfaction, the new library looks great and the Uni. in general was good. But the Physics building R13 was just really ugly in my opinion. I went to the Geography building before that and it looked great. I googled other universities physics department buildings and a lot of them look really old and rather hideous as well, are they all like this, and is this even important?
