Leaving out work experience on Economics personal statement?

I did a weeks work experience in July at my local HSBC branch and am wondering if that is relevant enough to put on my personal statement. I'm already at my character limit (20 over actually) and other things I've talked about is participation in the model UN, economics related books I've read, economics related EPQ etc. I did initially include a short sentence (maybe around 150 characters) but my teachers said it looked a bit disjointed and didn't really fit with anything else so I have decided to scrap it. Is this a good idea or shall I try and fit it back in again?
I mean scanning in documents to send to India, or attempting to sell people credit cards they don't need is hardly relevant but if there's no other work experience in the PS i'd try and fit it in.
