    Hi,
I am a British citizen and graduated in the year 2013 from a UK university after which I was working. In September 2014, my father who lives in abroad became unwell and I had to go look after him.
He has still not recovered completely but is stable now. I am returning to the UK next month and would like to pursue masters degree. Now I have been overseas for a little over two years as my father was unwell and I was looking after him. Would I still be eligible for student finance?
I live with my mother in the UK and my bank accounts are registered in the same address as where me and my mother live in the UK as that is my permanent address.

    Please Advise.

    Hi,

You may be eligible for student finance if you send in evidence of your temporary break in residence such as evidence of dads illness and proof of bank accounts in UK to show you were returning to the UK.
It is down to assessors discretion therefore I would advise you to send as much evidence as possible.

    Thanks
