Today, (16/10/16), two boys approached a group of three people, one being myself. At first, they questioned whether we wanted to purchase marijuana, then continued to question, "What've you got for me," in their evidently lower classed accents, or in modern day description, chavvy talk. Immediately after this, I began to back away, however one member of the duo decided to move closer to me, therefore I ran away to exit the situation, in the direction of the nearest witness to seek help. During this, another one of the duo withdrew a badly built flip pocket knife, and pulled its blade from the handle out, pointing its blunt end at my friends. I am unable to share what also actually happened during my friends' encounter with the duo threatening them, but I can recall from my point of view, the boys with a knife running away, leaving my friends without any injuries.

I have chosen to share my experience with all of you, as I wish to invite questions on how to react in the unfortunate circumstance of being mugged.

Please leave questions about your concerns and thoughts, on the subject!

Sorry for not getting any responses here, that must have been a very frightening ordeal. I don't think there's much you can do, you should report it but there might not be enough evidence for the police to follow. In those situations it's best to remain calm, don't try to take matters into your own hands or you could get hurt or killed.
