Last year in my lower sixth year, my results were ABC however, i had a really difficult year so have explanations for my low grades. I am determined to go to either Oxford or Cambridge to read History. For my upper sixth year i have been predicted A* A A based on in school exams and progress in class, however, i felt put off in applying to Oxbridge this year based on my weak AS grades. Do i have chance of getting in if i apply next year or am i just waisting my time?

    Thanks :-)

If you get the correct A2 grades there's no reason why you shouldn't apply next year

If you get the grades you're predicted! Almost certain you'd get an interview.

Yes, but just be aware, most successful post A-level applicants exceed the typical requirements. (A*AA at Cambridge)
