I'm going to be 16 and I can't really not do anything 4 my birthday cause I'm gonna b 16 !!!! And my mum keeps asking me what I wanna do !!! I don't wanna do bowling or cinema cause that's the sorta thing I do normally. I was thinking mayb just have a few mates round for a sleepover and a few drinks. However I would feel quite akward asking my mum if I'm allowed alcohol !!! So what should I do 4 my bday ??? Cause I don't want it 2 b dead!!! Also if I was to have the sleepover thing i don't think my boyfriend would wanna come cause he doesn't really talk 2 my mates and stuff. Also how many mates should come round ??? (Like not 2 many 2 piss of my mum but enough so it's not dead)

For my 16th I spent it with 4 friends and my boyfriend, we had drinks and they crashed at mine after. It was pretty fun and simple. If your mum isn't comfortable with the people or drinking you shouldn't do this. Instead you could go bowling for a big group of you and go for a meal? Not many options at 16 really.

My 16th must have been horribly uneventful... I can't remember it at all. I'm olllllld.

That said, I do remember I went to a water park for my 17th, which was pretty fun. Fun, but expensive if you have more than a few friends there.

Why don't you go out for a cute meal with as many girl and boy friends as you like (book a table in advance of course) and then choose maybe 4/6 close friends that would come back sleep at yours. You're under age with the alcohol thing so I doubt your mum will bring out the vodka shots or what not but you could ask her to get you guys 2 WKD's each or something like that because after all you are quite young.

If you don't want to do a sleep over you could go Thorpe Park for fright night and enjoy yourself out there or theres this thing called "Jumping Giants" where its full of trampolines and you can rent the place out for small parties. Im sure wherever you live there may be a similar place like that.
