    Hello all!

    I apologise if there is already a thread for this!

    Just thought I'd start one to see who else is applying for postgraduate study next year!

    So my application is in 🙈! Wish me luck...

    I have applied for Msc sociology and social policy!

    A few details about me is im called Alison! I'm 24, currently a social worker living in Basingstoke!

    So feel free to join the conversation and share who you are and what you are going to study

    Oh brilliant, congrats! I'm really excited too. It sounds like ages away but I'm sure it'll go fast.

    My PhD is in contemporary art / music. It's focused on creating sound art and music that affects the listener's inner ear. I've loved it, but an art PhD is not great for employment, unless you want to go into lecturing (which seems impossible to get into these days). However, it started my interest in audiology, which has led me to where I am now. A career in hearing science and healthcare seems perfect for me.
