A-level options Watch

    • Thread Starter

Right now I'm at that point where I would have to choose my A-level options soon. I have done hours of research and asked multiples for advice about my options that link to my career path, aeronautical engineering. Right now I want to choose A-level Maths, Further mathematics and physics but some people are saying that taking further mathematics is useless. The grade that you get for the subject is invalid when it comes to applying for university. I don't understand, can someone give me a full insight on this issue please; as my future is depending on it.

    Many thanks.

Most universities won't accept further maths as part of the 3 a level offer however many people do it as a fourth a level to help with further study. You definitely need maths and physics, along with another subject of your choice. What are you interested in? You could choose another facilitating subject such as chemistry or history, or alternatively choose economics, Psychology etc.
