I am currently an International student seeking admission to Leicester. I happened to come across Leicester's Grading Scale and found something rather interesting:
Does Leicester not use the 0-100% numeric grading system?
By that I mean, specifically with a class of degree (1/2:1/2:2/3) .
It seems as though they simply have a Pass/Fail, from what I can tell on the website.
Does anyone here have any insight into this?

I currently work at the University of Leicester and I did study at Leicester, so I will be able to give you some insight into the grading scale.
We do use the system of a pass and fail, but we also use the degree classifications e.g 1st, 2.1, 2.2 etc. So when you receive your results it will let you know if you passed or failed and if you have passed it will tell you what degree class you got. For example passing with a 2.1.
For more information on the grading system please see our senate regulation on undergraduate results.
I hope this helps!
