So I did my A-levels over seas. Got good results (A*A*AB, and I'm re-writing the A and B in my gap year). However, they requested a high school transcript., which is...not the best. Grades ranged from 94 to 64 at A-level, as well as most things inbetween. I'd say my average was an 85. How much weight does the transcript have in the admissions decision?

I know that when I applied with my AS grades they took the UMS and exam results themselves very seriously. I got AAAA but I didn't get an interview because the UMS wasn't high enough. I think if they've asked for the transcripts from your A2s it's to see your writing style as opposed to seeing purely the breakdown of marks, so I wouldn't be too concerned

All things are taken into account, but your most recent actual results are more important.

What course have you applied for?

Ok, so as I'm sure you know A*A*A meets the typical requirements. But just be aware most succesful post A-level applicants exceed it.

    Good luck!
