    Hi all

I thought I would just let you know that there is a "reasonably" new, totally free science revision website that I have created called www.scienceskool.co.uk

It is totally free of charge, no signing in or adverts, and has resources for A-level Chemistry as well as GCSE Sciences. I myself am a Science teacher with a specialism in Chemistry and have collated a lot of my own hand written resources, notes, questions etc. into a website for students to use. Please pass this on to anyone you think might find it of use - the only thing I gain from this is the satisfaction knowing the work I put in is being used!

The most recent addition is the section on the Arrhenius Equation which is a new section for most A-level specifications so should be of use to a lot of you.

If you have any questions - ideas - etc. please don't hesitate to post here - or even reply to one of the blog posts on the site.

    Best of luck

    Alex

P.S: I have posted this before but thought with the new academic year it would be a good time for a reminder. I do have another thread but feel that is in the wrong section so will only be updating this one now.**

    Hi all

Just thought I would let you know that I have added some new pages in the AS organic section. I have added a page detailing the properties and reactions of alkanes, crude oil and biofuels, as well as a section detailing free radical substitutions. I hope you find them useful!

    Hi all

I have just added a page on the Science Skool website on the topic of gaseous equilibria and Kp. This is a short article explaining the mole fraction and partial pressures. Once you get to grips with that you can attempt the questions, which of course have full answers! As always if you have any feedback or ideas let me know!

    Best of luck

    Hi all

It's been a while! As some of you may be aware, the exams section was password protected due to a copy write issue. I have removed this now, but it will only host the old specification Ignore and tests created by myself from old questions. The reason why this section is so useful is because I add in model answers which I know a lot of students find useful. I hope I can maintain this section of the site, and will be adding more of my own tests soon.

I hope you enjoy the site

    Hi all

Another quick update. If you check out the AQA exams section of the website you will find exam questions sorted into all of the A-level Chemistry topics, including the mark schemes. This was done by a student of mine Nick, and he was kind enough to allow his hard sorting work to be uploaded to the website! I hope this helps with your revision.

Best of luck with the upcoming exams!!

    Hi all

I hope the revision is going well and for the AS chemists, I hope paper 1 was what you expected! On the site now I have added model answers for the JUNE 2016 AS exam papers. I have also added the 2015 CHEM 2 (OLD SPEC) model answers as well and you can find all of the resources here. I hope they help, and as usual if you have any feedback let me know!

    Best of luck again

    Alex

P.S Please do NOT ask me for the set 2 specimen papers as I am unable to give you these.
