Tesco Job Interview

    • Thread Starter

I have an interview for a new job at Tesco tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone has any tips? I've already done some research into what sort of questions I might be asked but any advice on that would be great too. Also it's a group interview so I'm not entirely sure how that will work, any ideas?
    Thanks guys

I haven't had a group interview. I had a team assessment though, I'm not sure if that's similar?

Make sure you're confident though that's the main point. Talk to people, smile and be friendly. What role have you applied for? I applied for Stockroom Assistant, I did have a task to do in stock (10/15 minutes), really easy. She even took me on shop floor in the front area (10/15 minutes). I heard what the two ladies said about me because well I was trying to listen to them and I got really good feedback even though I applied for a stock position.

If you get stuck or need a little help, ask another colleague that works there and it'll look really good. I had my team assessment, one customer asked me about the brands returns policy etc and I didn't want to give wrong information out so I asked someone who worked there. Then the same with when I approached a customer and asked her if she needed any help, she responded with "do you have another size in your stock?" Then the woman who was observing me came and took over. Which is fine, they can't expect me to know everything as I'm here for team assessment and I'll be trained.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions
