I know it's important to visit university open days, and I am attending a few but I have had to miss a few. The problem is that a lot of them are on saturdays, when I work and can't get the time off, meaning I can't go... Does anyone know how I can still find out about the unis without going to an open day?

    Hi,

What course are you interested in? or is it more general? The uni does have open days on weekdays too, I'll see if I can get you the future dates.

If you have any direct questions you can also email the admissions team directly or finance, if you wanted money advice for example.

LJMU also run regular campus tours, webpage here:
    https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/study/undergr...s/campus-tours

There are already some scheduled dates on there. If you can't make any of those dates, I'd drop them an email, they should be able to arrange something for you.

Also, you'll find some information on that page about applicant days. Once you've applied to LJMU, you'll get invited to one.

So yes, I can say there are alternatives! and you're right, it is important to get a feel for a uni before you decide to go there. Campus tours are good because you'll be taken around on a day with actual students going about their business. You can also direct any questions you have about the uni towards the students who usually do the tours.

    Hope this helps,

    Kerri
