Maybe you're dieting in a harsh manner. Most people completely ban themselves from eating certain foods (e.g. Sweets, fast food etc) and think all they should eat are fruits and vegetables. Everything in moderation. If you want chocolate, have it, but instead of the whole bar, just have a few chunks. Things like that makes going on a diet easier and more sustainable.

Also make sure you're eating enough. You shouldn't be going to bed hungry. Never go below 1,200 calories a day unless advised by a medical professional.

Make sure you are eating enough fat (eggs, olive oil, avocado, seeds, etc) and don't abandon carbs. Carbs are your friend, but go for low GI sources such as oats, sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc and eat more of them after workout (and also pre)

Figure out your maintenance calories and go on a slight deficit, though you might benefit by a slight increase?
