I found from my open day that the student union is the place to be with good prices! Especially if you get too drunk they hold beds on a night for those who can't make it to their apartment. Also as I come from the north east, Newcastle and Durham as also good places for nightlife rather than borough unless you're into little bars with the snooker tables? I pretty sure nightlife won't be the problem too much because as a student you'll find anywhere and anytime to have a drink or two. Message me for more details if you want

Its ok.
Student union is pretty crap if im honest, its like a kids disco.
Depending what music your into theres...
Mixtape & YoYo on a tuesday night
Go ninja on a wednesday
Creeps on a thursday
Empire & Spenceleys & The dickens on a saturday.
Theres also yarm which is about 15 mins away in a taxi which is good on a friday and saturday
