When does interest start accumulating?

    • Thread Starter

Does the interest start accumulating from the day I take the loan, like literally the interest is building up while I'm studying at university.

Does the interest start accumulating the moment I make my first payment out of my salary to pay of the loan?

    or else?

    Is the following true?

" No interest is charged from the time of graduation uptill the person starts earning 21k. Therefore, If repayment of the full loan is made before the person starts earning 21k after graduation, one is exempted from the interest charges and if repayment is made after 21k earnings, interest would be charged therefrom. "

If it is true can I just directly pay of my 27K depth after graduation with a one of payment, and avoid the interest?

The interest is charged from the day the first installment is paid. Therefore that statement above is untrue.
