    I take Italian at A level and French at A level, would it be possible to take one of these subjects as an outside course if I study geography at Edinburgh University, even though Geography is in the school of Science & Engineering and languages are in the school of Humanities & Social Science? Please help me out!

    Yes, it is possible. Look at the link below, as you can see, you can take outside subjects from most schools/departments, including languages.
